Process Trainer / Sr Process Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuing education modules (ICD-10 and Credential Preparation) for experienced staff as per the requirements
  • Maintained 95% accuracy levels and productive quality
  • Review the charts for admit and discharge date. Ensure abstraction for the dates and time of surgeries and operations and billable providers
  • Well-versed in all aspects of client interactions and auditing
  • Taken sessions and performed auditing as part of a training programme for new joinees
  • Staying abreast with current and changing reimbursement and coding guidelines
  • Attending client interactions calls for ensuring correct reimbursement for the services rendered
  • Take sessions and aid training for coding as part of a training programme for new joinees
  • Interviewing fresh candidates and preparing recruitment test drives for the organization manage the entire Training Department and aid in preparation of
  • Lesson plans and curriculum in coordination with US training
  • Preparation of training plans and materials with regards to ICD-9 and ICD-10 for fresh and experienced recruits
  • Responsible for planning and scheduling continuing education modules (ICD-10 and other topics) for experienced staff as per the requirements
  • Responsible for imparting credential training for experienced staff and also holding AAPC certification exams on a bi-yearly basis with high pass percentage
  • Responsible for preparation and conducting credential mock exams for CPC, COC and CIC certifications for experienced staff

Process Trainer Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience required
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player and good leadership qualities
  • Sound knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Medical Terminology, Psychology, and Pharmacology
  • In-depth knowledge of coding techniques (ICD-9 & CPT) and guidelines of medical coding
  • Well versed with abstraction and handling of patient record
